Authors Eric B. Bauman (Clinical Playground, LLC), Parvati Dev, and Wm. LeRoy Heinrichs (CliniSpace) won second place in the education track poster/abstract contest at the 11th annual International Nursing Simulation/Learning Resource Centers Conference sponsored by the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL) conference in San Antonio, Texas on June 21, 2012. This conference is attended by international nursing and healthcare leaders dedicated to leveraging simulation and technology for nursing and clinical education.
The award winning poster titled Creating Complementary Learning Environments: Moving Between Virtual Worlds and Mannequin-based Simulations focused on engaging learners and creating research opportunities by creating complimentary digital and fixed space simulation environments.
Clinical Playground, LLC and CliniSpace have been frequent collaborators on several projects over the last year. Look for even more collaborative work from these two innovative teams in the future.
