The Fall and Winter conference circuit is shaping up. Dr. Eric B. Bauman, Clinical Playground’s founder and managing member will be giving the plenary session on Game-Based Learning at the California Simulation Alliance Magic in Teaching Conference in San Francisco November 14-16, 2012. Dr. Bauman will also be facilitating a workshop on hybrid simulation with Dr. Parvati Dev of ClinicSpace.
Bauman will also be joined by colleagues, Parvati Dev & LeRoy Wm. Heinrichs (CliniSpace), Katie White (University of Iowa), Cindy Foronda (University of Miami), and Gerald Stapleton (University of Illinois – Chicago) at the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH), International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare (IMSH) in Orlando, January 26-30, 2013 for both a pre-conference workshop on hybrid simulation and an immersive session on game-based and virtual environments.

This book was endorsed by Professor Kurt Squire from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and the forward was written by Professor Pamela Jeffries from Johns Hopkins University.
Aurel Mihai, one of the Original Clinical Playground LLC Players is finishing up his Med2 exams at Ross Medical University School of Medicine and will begin clinical clerkship rotations this fall.
