Dr. Eric B. Bauman recently accepted an adjunct faculty position at the American Canadian School of Medicine (ACSOM) in Dominica. During a recent trip to the campus Dr. Bauman taught a crisis management and resuscitation block for medical students, had the opportunity to tour the recently rebuild Friendship Hospital, spent a morning providing continuing education opportunity for the Fire Department. As many may recall, Dr. Bauman spent 30 years in the Fire/EMS service. He occupied many roles including: Firefighter, EMT, paramedic and Command Staff officer in the role of EMS Division Chief. Anytime he gets to hang out with Firefighters and first responders always puts a smile on his face.
