Aurel Mihai, one of our Clinical Playground “Players” has updated his Bio. Aurel is slugging his way through his Med 1 year at Ross University. Dr. Katie White, another one of our “Players” recently accepted a hospitalist position at the VA Medical Center in Birmingham, Ala. While members of Clinical Playground move around from time to time, the group is always looking forward to working together on projects that promote simulation and game-based learning for health sciences, public safety, and science education.
Clinical Playground, LLC founder and managing member, Dr. Eric Bauman will be facilitating a seminar at the Stony Brook Medical Center as part of the Faculty Development Fellowship Program in December. Dr. Bauman was invited to facilitate the seminar focusing on technology and game-based learning for medical education after meeting Dr. Elza Mylona, Associate Dean for Faculty Development earlier this year while giving a talk at the OSU Medsation Medical Education Conference in Tulsa, OK.
