The Games+Learning+Society Conference, which we previously announced is taking place in Madison, WI on June 15-17, has extended its session abstract submission deadline to March 14, which is next Monday. MODSIM World Canada 2011 Conference and Expo will take place in Ottawa from June 20-22. The event organizers describe it as an “international summit for disseminating recent advances in the field of system modeling and simulation.” Health, medical and biotech are the topics of one of its four tracks this year. So getting out of the Madison, Wisconsin would have involved buses and standby tickets from Madison to Tampa.  I’m scheduled for a 5:15AM flight again on Tuesday.  The presentation titled Simulation-Based Resuscitation: Team Leadership is still scheduled to take place on Wed February 22 at the METI HPSN Conference.  It is snowing again so we will see… If all goes well I should be wheels down in Tampa around Noon tomorrow.
