Clinical Playground’s Dr. Eric B. Bauman is happy to announce that he has been selected by the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL) Screening Committee to run for the position of president-elect. Dr. Bauman’s important mission has always been to democratize clinical expertise and advance the science of healthcare simulation.
His dedication to developing pedagogy specific to simulation has brought about advances in nursing and health professions education and leadership. Such advances in clinical education have a positive impact on patient safety and outcomes.
His vision for INACSL supports the current and future educational and practice ecosystem by working collaboratively and inter-professionally to advance research, mentorship, networking, and policy. As president, he intends to continue to support best practices and leverage innovative technology for clinical education, including VR, AR, and mobile games.
